I’m going to present the book that we used at the university to learn everything that is on my blog.

The name of the book is 500 activities for the primary classroom, I really recommend its’ use because you can show the theory as a teacher and activities for children.

It’s one of the books that I think you need if you are an English teacher because it’s not the same to teach to teach English than Spanish, in this book you can learn the importance of reading, writing, listening ... in child development as well as in this stage we introduce each of these concepts.

I can only say one negative thing, the theory is so extensive that if you don’t have a high level of English you would be able to understand a lot of things, in the activities you can see pictures and if you don’t understand something the pictures can help you but in the theory there aren’t any pictures.

On my blog you can see in all of the units the theory of this book, I hope that you like it.

TEAM WORK: 

Team work is very important to be a teacher because in your class you have to work in teams with your children.

If you want to teach something you need to do it, so if you want to work in teams in your class you need to do it in your group of teachers.

I know that it can be difficult at the beginning because you don’t have the same ideas as the others, but this is the important thing because if you can work all the ideas together you can come up with a common finding which means you have great teamwork.

As a future teacher you need to know that you will not labor alone and you depend on other colleagues who are in your cycle, you must work the same agenda because your students are the same as the others.

ICT:

New technologies, nowadays are very important in our society and more in our schools, you can teach with a book but you need to think about your students, if they see the theory as a boring book or they can see the learning as a fun think with movements, pictures and where they can participate, they could be more motivated.

I think that you can introduce the new technologies at the beginning of their schooling, because now society is involved in these technologies, but as a good teacher you must have good training in all areas , you must know how to use these new technologies.

Not all ideas are the best used, because if you only use technologies in your class your children no will learn to develop in other fields such as libraries with books, the search for information by speaking to other people…
