RUFUS THE RABBIT

PRE-TEACHING: Before we read the book we can sing a Song like "day of story day of story silence shhhh, sit down everybody sit down everybody ..." We do this to catch the attention of our children.

At the same time that we read the story we can show some objects of the story, like a carrot or a glass of water, the important things which you must know is the meaning to understand the story.

POST-TEACHING:  we can introduce a new story about our children, where all of them write about themselves, we need the help of the families, they say actions that they can't do without the help of their mums.

For example i can't put the shoes on or take the shoes off. If a few number of children do that the teacher does a class to learn this action.
 

Another example could be to put the jacket on or put it on the table

If they are little like three years old we can make the activity more simple, the actions that we see as interesting to work in class and we know that our children can't do it so we can encourage them.
