ACTIVITY 1: MATILDA

MATILDA

We're going to present the book of Matilda in class, but all of us know that this character has a film so we go to see her film in class first.






There are a lot of parts in that book, it is very long to read in one day. For this reason we only work with some parts of the book, some stories.


First the teacher will present the vocabulary in a fantastic presentation with the programe Tagxedo (pre-telling).

After that we can present something specific to identify the parts of the book and the children will choose the best one for us.

The post-telling can be more dificult because it is a book for 9-10 year olds, so we can do a library with our children, once a week, one student can read a part of a book, and students in groups of five can do the abstract by doing a poster using the programe Glogster (we need to introduce the new technologies in class).

-And on another day we can do a comic about the part of the book that we read in class,


-Or an animation story with the programe Voki, for example
