SIMON SAYS

At the beginning of the English study we need something fun for our children, something motivating like a song. So today I’m going to introduce a song with new vocabulary and some activities that the teachers can do with the children afterwards.

Simon says Dabbie and friends

You can see that this group of music do the movements with the children and then the children can get involved in the song, they sing, they dance and the most important of all is that they repeat To complete my study about this unit I’m going to show you some activities that you can you after the listening to the song: Simon says.



Sequence gym:

Now Simon is a child in your class, the first time can do it the teacher and you can say:
-Lara say clap your hands (in my case) and after you show the movement to your students


And after you introduce your students, for example
-Pau say… (And pau is going to say something)-sit down
-Laura say ……..-turn around


Look and do it:

On the other hand we can work the reading, in this case the teacher do some flash cards with movements and they say:
The teacher say…. (And show the flashcards but without speaking) so the children can see the flashcard and do the correct movement.
